Moppy works with a paid subscription. A subscription unlocks everything in the app: the daily plan, timed steps, rooms, room scans (within a monthly limit), reminders and washing Moppy. These terms explain how paying, renewing and stopping work. They are part of our Terms of Use.
1. Who sells the subscription
- In the iPhone app, Apple sells the subscription and charges your Apple ID.
- On our website, our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our web orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle’s Buyer Terms also apply to web purchases.
Wherever you subscribe, you get the same Moppy. If you subscribed on the web, sign in to the app with the same account — you don’t need to pay twice.
2. Plans and prices
Website plans, in US dollars:
| Plan | Price | Charged | Free trial |
|---|---|---|---|
| Every 3 months | $29.99 | every 3 months | none |
| Monthly | $19.99 | every month | none |
| Weekly | $6.99 | every week | none |
The full price is charged at the start of each period and again at every renewal until you cancel. For example, the 3-month plan charges $29.99 once every 3 months. Taxes such as VAT or sales tax may be added at checkout depending on where you live.
The plans and prices in the iPhone app are shown on the purchase screen in the app before you confirm. In both places, the price you see before you confirm, including any taxes, is the price you pay.
Prices may differ between the app and the website and from country to country, and the store or Paddle may show a local currency and add taxes such as VAT or sales tax where you live. We may change our prices over time. A new price never applies to a period you have already paid for: if the price of your plan changes, we’ll tell you in advance, it applies only from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
3. Free trial
- Some plans may come with a free trial. If yours does, the purchase screen says so and shows how long it lasts.
- A trial is available only once per account.
- Nothing is charged during the trial. When the trial ends, the subscription starts and the plan’s price is charged automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial.
4. Automatic renewal
Every subscription renews automatically at the end of each period and is charged again, unless you cancel:
- App Store: at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase (or when the trial ends) and on each renewal.
- Web: before the next renewal date. Paddle charges the card or payment method you used.
5. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time — with Apple if you subscribed in the iPhone app, or with Paddle if you subscribed on our website. After cancelling, you keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and no further charges are made.
Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
6. Refunds
- App Store purchases: Apple handles all refunds under its own rules. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t issue refunds for App Store purchases ourselves.
- Web purchases: refunds are handled by Paddle as the seller. Request one through the link in your Paddle receipt, at paddle.net, or by writing to us — we’ll pass it on. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you have a statutory right to cancel a web purchase within 14 days, as described in Paddle’s Buyer Terms.
- A period that has already started is otherwise not refunded in part, except where the law requires it.
7. Questions about a charge
Write to hello@moppyapp.com with the email address of your account and the date of the charge. For App Store charges we’ll help you find the right place at Apple; for web charges we’ll sort it out together with Paddle.
